We spend time in  our history taking and examinations checking how healthy your spine is. This allows us to determine the cause of your pain and symptoms, in order to provide you with the most appropriate, tailored treatment plan.

We report excellent results with conditions caused by spinal disc prolapse or  bulge.

Whatever your condition is, we support your journey to better health.

What types of chiropractic care do we offer?

  • Acute care – emergency care for acute injuries and illnesses.
  • Rehabilitation treatment for muscular – skeletal conditions, including work – related injuries (Workcare) and transport accidents (TAC), no referral needed.
  • Preventive care for patients of all ages.

How does chiropractic work?

Chiropractic adjustment is a procedure in which chiropractors use their hands or a small instrument to apply a controlled, sudden force to a spinal joint. The goal of this procedure is to improve spinal motion and improve your body’s physical function.

Chiropractors treat people by aligning their spine with a variety of manipulations. During the first visit, chiropractors typically perform a physical exam and take a health history, paying special attention to the spine and whether the patient has normal bone density. People with lower levels of bone density, such as people with osteoporosis, would receive gentler treatments. The chiropractor typically uses his or her hands to apply controlled, rapid force to a damaged or injured joint, to allow the joint to move in a normal manner and reduce pain and inflammation.

Advantage chiropractic is boutique patient orientated clinic providing safe, gentle and effective chiropractic care combined with inclusion of physiotherapy modalities, acupuncture, and electroacupuncture to achieve maximal benefits for every patient.

What to expect with your first consultation?

  • A thorough assessment of your medical history is taken. You’re often asked to fill out forms that gather specific information that will be used to map out a treatment plan for your health needs. You will undergo extensive chiropractic examination, which often consists of a general assessment and very specific orthopedic and neurological assessment.
  • Depending on the result of the first examination, you may or may not be required to undergo further diagnostic studies to determine more accurately the pathologies and abnormalities relevant to your current condition
  • The information gathered in your medical history and the results of your chiropractic exam and diagnosis studies culminate into a well-informed chiropractic treatment plan.
  • Once the diagnosis has been established, your chiropractor will discuss with you the areas that are of concern and how chiropractic care can help you deal with these problems.

Most crucial and recurring components of most chiropractic treatment programs include spinal adjustments and patient education, which are all an essential part of chiropractic care.

Other available treatments, if deemed necessary by your chiropractor, might include massage, heat and cold application, and nutrition education.
